ASSAULT RIFLES     The Assault Rifle Props are primarily fabricated from steel.  High impact plastics, anodized aluminum, and other materials are also used in producing these types of props.  By using metals, the rifles have the weight and balance of a real gun.  It also adds to the durability and realistic look of the prop.  Picaninny optics rails, functioning triggers, sling swivels, magazines, and movable bolt carriers, are also options you can add to the guns.  Sections of these props can be made from real rifle parts, such as grips, stocks, optics rails, and functioning high-powered scopes.  The paint jobs on the guns can be anything you want.  They can be colorful, all black, metallic black, or any variety of camouflage.   Prop prices will vary depending upon the cost and availability of gun parts, the materials it will be made from, and if you want it to have moving parts, or removable or extra magazines.   Assault Rifle Pricing:   $900 and up. (pricing will vary depending upon the type of add-on features used)   Please note that in compliance with US Federal law, all prop guns come with a permanent barrel plug, painted in florescent orange.  No prop gun will leave the ALW shop without that addition.  The end user should not paint over the brightly colored muzzle.   STEAMPUNK PISTOLS     The Steampunk Pistol Props are primarily fabricated from steel, yet brass, copper, and wood are also used.  By making these guns from metals, they have the weight and balance of a real pistol.  These are not light-weight props, or cheaply painted plastic toys, but rather they are high-quality guns that feel like real weapons.  They are durable and realistic looking.  The design of these Steampunk guns harkens back to the flintlock pistols used in the early 1800s. These guns have a very high level of detail on them, and can even be made so that the "Steampunk mechanical" parts are removable.  The steel bodies and barrel shrouds on these guns are painted with several layers of metallic gold, bronze, copper, and brass colors.  I normally use an activator button inside the steel trigger guard rather than a trigger, however triggers can be used.  I often incorporate bare steel parts on my Steampunk designs.  These sections are not painted, but are rather chemically blued by hand, and then heat treated, showing off the beautiful blue/gray look of the natural metal.  In keeping with the Steampunk tradition, hand painted designs in black can be added over the gold colorations, and/or the metals can be hand engraved with a wide variety of designs.   Prop prices will vary depending upon the final design, and the amount of detailing added to the gun.   Steampunk Pistol Pricing:   $275 and up.
